Hosting lunch or dinner? Or are you invited over to someones house and don't know what to bring. Well, look no further, you'll impress MANY with this mouth watering bake.
Ingredients;
- Bag of spud lites (potatoes)
- Bacon
- Shallots
- Thickened Cream
- Tasty Shredded Cheese
- Minced Garlic
- Butter
- Chilli Flakes, Salt & Pepper
Method;
- Cut bacon into chunks and chop up your shallots
- Melt butter in a frypan (lots!!) fry garlic, shallots & bacon
- Cut potatoes into chunks ( i think i cut mine into quarters)
- Add the potatoes to the frypan which has the bacon & shallots in it leave until slightly browned - Add salt, pepper and chilli flakes
- Once browned place the potato mix into a oven dish
- Add cream- I used 300ml for the bag of potatoes
- Cover the top with shredded cheese
- Cook in the oven at 200 for about 30-40 min (leave uncovered)
- Prick the potatoes to determine if they're ready- they will be soft when they're ready
It's super quick and simple but I am telling you now, people won't stop talking about how good it is!
